Spring is here! After a few cold months, there is no doubt many of us are looking forward to warmer temperatures and longer days. At this time of year, we feel inclined to clean up the cobwebs and get ready for a busy summer! Spring cleaning can be a little daunting if you look at it as a whole, so we are breaking it down into smaller chunks this year to help you take control.

Luckily, the first thing on our list for Spring cleaning is quite easy and doesn’t require much effort from you! Give your insurance agent a call or shoot them an email and ask for a review on your homeowner’s insurance coverage. Over the past year, property values have risen, along with replacement costs. Furthermore, supply chains were interrupted with the COVID pandemic leading to even higher building costs. If your insurance policy is a couple of years old, you could be drastically under-insured.

While you are reviewing your coverage, take a quick peek around your home and make sure there isn’t any new personal property that needs to be insured such as new artwork, jewelry, or collectibles.
